This Privacy Policy explains what data HesapHanem ("we", the "site") collects when you use hesaphanem.com, how that data is used, and what rights you have over it. If anything here is unclear, please get in touch.

Who Operates This Site

Data We Collect

The following data may be collected when you use the site:

  • Anonymous usage statistics (page views, browser type, device type, referring page)
  • Your language preference, stored in the hesap_lang cookie for one year
  • Your IP address and the general geographic region (country level) derived from it
  • The values you enter into a calculator, as described in the next section

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect names, addresses or payment details. If you write to us through the contact page, we receive the details you choose to send us (name, e-mail address, and your message) and use them only to answer you.

Calculator Inputs

Calculations are performed on our server. When you submit a calculator form, the values you entered are sent to us as part of the page address so that the result can be computed and displayed. These values may appear in routine web-server logs, which exist for security and troubleshooting. We do not save calculator inputs to any database, we do not link them to your identity, and we do not use them to build a profile of you or to target advertising.

Advertising and Google

This site is funded by advertising. We use Google AdSense to display ads.

Analytics

We also run a simple internal page-view counter that records nothing but the page address and the language. It stores no IP address and no identifier of any kind.

Legal Bases

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for advertising and analytics cookies, and on our legitimate interest in operating a secure, working website for the technical data described above. Under the KVKK, the corresponding grounds are your explicit consent and our legitimate interests.

How Long Data Is Kept

  • The language cookie expires one year after your last visit; you may delete it at any time in your browser.
  • Server logs are kept only as long as they are needed for security and troubleshooting, then discarded.
  • Page-view counts are aggregate figures and contain nothing that identifies you.
  • Messages you send us through the contact page are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.
  • Data held by Google for advertising and analytics is retained under Google's own policies and retention settings.

Your Rights

Under the GDPR and the KVKK you have the right to ask what data about you is processed, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw a consent you have given. Because we do not run accounts, we usually hold no data that identifies you — but if you believe we do, write to us through our contact page or at iletisim@hesaphanem.com and we will respond. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please tell us and we will delete it.
