HesapHanem

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data Z&K Technology ("we"), the company that runs HesapHanem, collects when you use hesaphanem.com, how that data is used, and what rights you have over it. If anything here is unclear, please get in touch.

Who Operates This Site

hesaphanem.com (HesapHanem) is operated by Z&K Technology, 30 Ağustos Sokak, Mila Marina Residence No:15 Ofis:10, Girne, KKTC (SLBT no: 00001263), which is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. For any question about this policy or about your data, use our contact page or write to iletisim@hesaphanem.com.

Data We Collect

The following data may be collected when you use the site:

  • Anonymous usage statistics (page views, browser type, device type, referring page)
  • Your language preference, stored in the hesap_lang cookie for one year
  • Your IP address and the general geographic region (country level) derived from it
  • The values you enter into a calculator, as described in the next section

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect addresses or payment details. If you post a comment, we store the comment and the name you choose to give, which is optional and published with it. If you react to a tool, your reaction is linked to a random identifier in the calc_voter cookie, not to your name. If you write to us through the contact page, we receive the details you choose to send us (name, e-mail address, and your message) and use them only to answer you.

Calculator Inputs

Calculations are performed on our server. When you submit a calculator form, the values you entered are sent to us as part of the page address, so that the result can be computed and displayed and so that you can bookmark or share it. Because they are part of the address, these values can appear in the standard web-server logs kept for security and troubleshooting, and in your own browser history. We do not save calculator inputs to any database, we do not link them to your identity, and we do not use them to build a profile of you or to target advertising.

The page address we pass to Google Analytics has the entered values removed, so your inputs are not sent to analytics. Advertising works differently: as on any site that shows ads, the advertising service (Google AdSense) receives the address of the page an ad appears on, and on a result page that address contains the values you entered.

How We Use Data

  • To provide the calculators and display their results
  • To understand which pages are used, so we can fix and improve them
  • To display advertising, which is how the site is funded
  • To keep the site secure and to meet legal obligations

Advertising and Google

This site is funded by advertising. We use Google AdSense to display ads.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • You may also opt out of the use of cookies by many third-party vendors at www.aboutads.info/choices.
  • Google explains how it handles data from sites that use its services here: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Consent in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before any non-essential cookie — advertising or analytics — is set. Consent is collected through our consent management platform, FlexyConsent, which appears as a banner on your first visit. Only strictly necessary cookies are set before you choose.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the consent settings on our Cookie Policy page. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place while consent was valid.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous statistics about how the site is used — for example which calculators are popular and which languages visitors need. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and processes data under Google's privacy policy. Where consent is required, these cookies load only after you accept them. The page address and the referring address that Google Analytics receives have their query part — where calculator inputs travel — removed.

We also run a simple internal page-view counter that records nothing but which page was viewed (without any values entered on it) and the language. It stores no IP address and no identifier of any kind.

Cookies

A full list of the cookies used on this site, what each is for and how to control them, is set out in our Cookie Policy.

Legal Bases

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for advertising and analytics cookies, and on our legitimate interest in operating a secure, working website for the technical data described above. Under the KVKK, the corresponding grounds are your explicit consent and our legitimate interests.

How Long Data Is Kept

  • The language cookie expires one year after your last visit; you may delete it at any time in your browser.
  • Server logs are kept only as long as they are needed for security and troubleshooting, then discarded.
  • Page-view counts are aggregate figures and contain nothing that identifies you.
  • Messages you send us through the contact page are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.
  • Data held by Google for advertising and analytics is retained under Google's own policies and retention settings.
  • We keep comments and reactions until they are removed. To stop abuse, such as repeated posting, we do not store your IP address with them: we store a code made from it with a secret key, which lets us see repeat activity from one address without storing the address itself. This is pseudonymous data, not anonymous data, and we erase the code after 30 days. Like most websites, our servers also record IP addresses in technical logs, which are deleted after about 14 days.

Your Rights

Under the GDPR and the KVKK you have the right to ask what data about you is processed, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw a consent you have given. Because we do not run accounts, we usually hold no data that identifies you — but if you believe we do, write to us through our contact page or at iletisim@hesaphanem.com and we will respond. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please tell us and we will delete it.

Updates

This policy may be updated; any change is published on this page. Last updated: 2026-11-04.
